Produced at Herdade do Esporão, this Private Collection Reserva D.O.C. 1999 comes from a rigorous selection made by our winemakers, of the best wines aged for one year in new French oak barrels.
The result was a wine with a good depth of color, a complex aroma of ripe fruits, spices, toasted and smoked.
The flavor is intense and very concentrated with a good structure of tannins and a long, persistent finish. To preserve the quality of this great wine, we decided not to stabilize it when cold, so it is not surprising that some deposit will be found with age, found at the bottom of the bottle.
