Adega Cooperativa de Cantanhede Garrafeira 1980 - Red Wine
The Producer
Aware of the enormous potential of the Cantanhede lands for the production of superior quality wines, in 1954 a group of 100 farmers founded the Adega Cooperativa de Cantanhede. Today, with around 700 active associated winegrowers and an average annual production of 6 to 7 million kilograms of grapes, this winery is the main producer in the Bairrada Demarcated Region, representing 30 to 40% of the region's global production and certifies about 80% of its production, being an outstanding leader in the sales of DOC Bairrada and IG Beira Atlântico wines.
